Availability in France

Apple Store site in France has changed the date of 24 June to 2 July.
Does this mean I have no reason to bother and go to the store on June 24 (until July 2 at least) if I did not order? or do they have a stock for those who did not order?

I don't think you need to bother going, the sales far exceeded the expectations so if you didn't get a reservation they will 99.9% be out of stock
