To celebrate the one-year anniversary of its release, Super Happy Fun Fun has issued a big update for Big Buck Hunter Pro for the iPhone/iPod touch, which makes the popular Moose Adventure available as an in-app purchase, as well as featuring three new hunting destinations, three classic bonus games and several additional gameplay enhancements.
Since Big Buck Hunter Pro was released at the end of 2009, it has topped the Best Hunting and Fishing Games chart, as well as storming the Sports games top 20. The game offers fast-paced, arcade-style action and best-in-genre 3D graphics, as well as some unique tools for the millions of Big Buck arcade fans, including a GPS locator to find the nearest Big Buck Hunter Pro arcade machine in your vicinity. You can even track personal Arcade Leaderboard and Hunting Party standings from your iPhone with built-in arcade network integration, including arcade account management and registration.
The gameplay is simple enough shoot three bucks without hitting any does or cows, across 3D hunting destinations. Bonus points are earned for shooting multiple bucks and bagging crafty critters. You can also go head-to-head with your friends with Four-Player Pass-to-Play mode.
Download the game here for $0.99. One word of warning though, be prepared to pay a lot extra on top of that initial price to obtain all the various levels, judging by many of the comments in the app store.
