Battery continually drains on my iphone 3GS Phone!

Is something wrong with my iphone 3GS (only one year old). I have to charge it daily as the battery keeps on draining every day. I only surf on Safari and text daily (but not really heavy usage). Thoughts appreciated, please.

I found an interesting article at About.com entitled "14 tips to extend iphone Battery Life". I did not post the link as I do not know if that is OK to do so on this site, but the article lists what can be done to save battery life. Hope everyone has a great day.
