I have a 4s still running the previous OS ... Within the last few days, battery life has been plummeting despite the fact that I don't use the fone that much, mainly to check mail once in a while, weather, and a few other items. It is not used for business. This morning, I turned the phone on at 100%. It is now, six hours later, at 63%. Coincidently, the drop in battery life coincided with the appearance on the App store icon of an indication I had an update. But no ... it was ESPN Radio, which I have never used and hence didn't need an update. I tried to get rid of it, but to no avail ... so I downloaded it, then deleted it from my screen. However, the update number is still there, apparently asking me to return the app to live status from the cloud. The app isn't on my screen ... could this be somehow draining my battery? Why can't I get rid of the thing, and why did it show up unbidden in the first place? And what the hell happened to my battery life????
