Battery % not reading right

So I'm having a few issues with my battery % in the status bar. Some days not all, I'll be messing on my phone and the % will drop fast but the battery icon doesn't move. Now if I respring the % goes back up and acts like normal. Does anyone have an idea why?

How old is your device? Do you regularly drain out the battery completely to calibrate it and such?

It's like 4-5 weeks old. Most of the time I run it down to around 20% and then charge. It's just weird that after a respring the % reads right.

Might be because your battery isn't calibrated yet. Try to make it a habit of draining your battery completely before charging it every so often, I would say maybe every 3 weeks or so if you're an avid user, or a little over a month. This will calibrate the battery's memory.
