Billabong Surf Trip Announced for iOS Platform

A new iPhone surfing game just perfect for all of us land-locked wanna be surfers has been announced today by Chillingo, in partnership with developer Biodroid. The two companies have joined forces to publish Billabong Surf Trip, an arcade-simulation surfing game for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. Set in the world's best surfing haunts, the game features Billabong's top professional surfers, Andy Irons, Taj Burrow, Joel Parkinson and Tiago Pires, in the role of ambassadors who share helpful tips on how to rip and get tubed on waves for maximum performance. More gameplay details will be announced soon, but meanwhile here's Chillingo's head of publishing, Johnny Coghlan talking about the game:

Billabong Surf Trip is due to launch this fall on all the aforementioned iOS devices.
