Blink notifications

Wish Apple would push an update so when we miss a call, text or email the home screen would blink so we know we missed something. It could be the "slide to unlock" message blinking. I know we can turn the camera flash on but that is so obtrusive.

Using the badge works for me. For email, I only have the badge for those listed as VIP. Mostly friends and family. I get too much junk email to have the badge for it all.

Have your notifications set so that they View In Lock Screen. When I return to my phone, I press the home button, and can see what has come in since I last picked up the phone.
This does not require you to turn the phone on.

I use this but I want a way to see that I've missed something without having to touch my phone. That's why I'd like the blinking. Say I'm sleeping I don't want to reach over and check my phone. I just want to glance at it and see if I missed a call or text.

In the android world we have an app called NoLED. it lights up a pixel that you can set different colors for different alert types. the whole screen stays off, just a small dot of light that is either steady or you can set it to flash. worked great. I really wish something like THAT was availible on IOS

Oh that sounds good. Hopefully iOS will get something like that soon.

Looks as though your request is being answered. The "slide to unlock" blinking when there's a message is being tested for the next update....I like this idea as well......SMILE
