Bootlogo-animate

Anyone having trouble applying the animate boot logo using animate. I'm on iOS 5.1.1 iPhone 4 I have it set to whatever special animation I want but when I turn off as back on the view the logo its still the stock one.. Any ideas?

I think it's only tethered jailbroken phones that could have a custom boot-logo, am not sure of that one, will do some research on it.
