BOP IT! Smash Comes to iOS

Hasbro’s BOP IT! is already a very popular game, and now Chillingo is bringing it to the App Store with the release of BOP IT! Smash for iPhone and iPod touch. Gameplay is based on traditional BOP IT! gameplay, featuring over 40 levels for you to test your reflexes on. The basic premise is very simple, all you have to do is follow the Energy Ball as it zooms around the screen and SMASH IT when it enters the bullseye. As the game goes on, the levels get faster and faster and the patterns get harder. If you can capture the Energy Ball as soon as possible, you’ll be able to power up your energy meter quicker until you eventually energize a Mega Ball, which earns you 2X points, and can also be upgraded to 3X points and 3X coins. The more SMASH Cash you earn, the more power-ups, upgrades, background views, energy balls and smashers you can buy in the game store.

The game keeps it relatively simple, but featured extras include customizable “smashers,” new light patterns, power-ups and Game Center integration.
