broken lock button

my top lock button is broken, at first it was just hard too push down, now it won't work at all, I've tried too take it out with a pin, nothing works, I went too apple and they said I need to completely replace the phone, anyone know what I can do ? Third party possibly ? don't wanna upgrade the 4 yet, waiting for the 5, so don't want too get the new 4s.

Fix it yourself its not that hard of a job.

As eddieg so eloquently put above, LOL!!, replacing the lock button isn't an extremely difficult task. Check out iFixit.com for the How-To and ordering parts... be ware of cheap parts sold online, ebay, ect.

you have too open the whole phone in order for you too change it, apple knows when the phone has been opened, don't want to drop my warranty incase something major happens.
