I have a BT phone line and broadband package. I have signed up for free BT WiFi, and my registered status has been confirmed by the BT WiFi website.
I cannot connect to BT WiFi at its hotspots.
I have had a very lengthy dialogue with experts on the BT care forum. One of them has suggested that this may be a device-specific problem, not an account problem.
Can any contributor to this iPhone forum tell me whether there is a device-specific problem with BT WiFi using old versions of iPhone with BWiFi? My phone is an old one, iPhone 3G, with iOS 4.2.1.
