CalDAV calendar not displaying after upgrade to iOS5

CalDAV calendars worked fine with iOS4 but stopped displaying upon upgrading to iOS5 on both the ipod and the iphone. All information about the CalDAV server was restored essentially correctly by the upgrade process. I am using a standard CalDAV iCal calendar server (but not gmail) and have tried many changes to the settings on the ipod but still the calendars do not display. I searched this forum and no one seems to have reported having this problem. In trying everything I could think of, I found that I can actually add a new appointment to a calendar but nothing, no appointments at all, are ever displayed. Anyone else have this problem and find a way to fix it?

PROBLEM SOLVED

After much additional searching I found a Thread that included this exact problem in the Apple Support Communities:

There I found the suggestion to go to settings and change calendar sync to "all events" rather than the default "1 Month Back"

That worked for me!
