Call and Textl blocking

How can I block calls and text messages on my iPhone? Do you know a certain app that for this? Or do I really have to subscribe to my carrier for these blocking features? Thanks!

Certain carriers offer number blocking options. You have to jailbreak your iPhone if you want a number blocking app.
