What I'm looking for is the original OEM battery that came with my 5s. I don't want any aftermarket/counterfeit battery period. Only the OEM that the Apple Store/Apple corp would use to replace a battery if sent in for replacement.
I noticed on Amazon there is what is being sold as the original OEM, and sold "By Apple". Does Apple sell direct to public on Amazon?
Being a two-way radio tech, I've dealt with 10's of thousands of li-ion batteries over the past many years. Using Motorola's IMPRESS battery technology data, I've discovered some shocking information about battery life from different manufactures. In the aftermarket world, li-ion replacement cells can range from decent to pure garbage. When officers life's are at stake, even "decent" cells can't be used-period! IMHO, only OEM for my devices as well as all others.
