Can I delete the content from my phone without deleting itunes?

Hey all, I got a 4s the other day and am in the process of getting rid of my 3gs. I want to offer the person who is going to buy it the chance to keep the music on it if they would like (there are about 4,000 songs on it). Is there anyway to erase the information on it without deleting the itunes? Thanks in advance for your help.

You can manually remove all the contacts, Emails, notes and calendars etc. if the buyer syncs that device into a his computer for any reason then it will wipe it anyway. So inform him of that.
