Can I Make an app shortcut on my desktop

My daughter has an IPhone 4. I'd like to set up the GPS with her home address and then put a shortcut to that on her Home Screen. Then, no matter where she is, a press of the shortcut button will lead her home. Is it possible to do that without jailbreaking and, if so, how??
