Can I use my own tunes as a ringtone ???

Not got a clue as to whether I can use my own music as ringtones like I could with my Nokia etc....

I have looked and my music is on my phone but doesn't give me the option of using it as a ring tone ???

Any help greatly appreciaited.

You have to install a app like ringtone maker from the app store or make them yourself using Xilisoft IPhone ringtone maker. Make sure the music is 30 seconds and converted to m4r

Cheers guys..managed to convert the file to m4r and the clip is 15 secs max...not 29 secs....anyway sorted now and thank you !

If you are on a Mac, and have Garage Band '11, then you can convert ANY song (DRM or not) to a ringtone and export directly into iTunes in a matter of about 20 seconds. If you look in the Garage Band help, it will give step-by-step.
