Can someone take remote control of an iphone 5?
I recently went through the most bizarre situation involving my iphone. I am hoping someone can shed some light on "how" this could happen.
I use Yahoo mail on my iphone6. I recently saw that the draft folder indicated 1 draft, so I looked to see what it was. I discovered a draft email, (no one listed in the "to" or cc or BCC boxes) with a sexually explicit subject line. The body of the email read, "Hi, my name is Mike and I'm . . . (use your imagination to fill in the blank). It also appeared to be soliciting a sexual encounter with someone (no specific name). I had a friend use a software program (Dr fone) to extract data from my phone in order to see if we could determine when or how it could have gotten on my phone, but there was absolutely no evidence whatsoever that my phone had visited any singles, dating, or pornographic websites.
Does anyone here anve ANY idea whether it is possible for someone to to take control of my phone, create a draft email, and do so in a manner that would avoid detection? My phone is like an appendage to me, so I can't imagine someone could have physically touched my phone to do this, which is why I suspect someone did it remotely. Is that possible?
Any insight at all would be helpful.
