Can"t remove apps

When i press an app to remove it i do not get the x. I pops up share app. I have to go to Itunes to remove.

You may be pressing too hard and thus invoking Force Touch. Just tap lightly and hold.

If that's how's to stop the apps doing it, can you explain how to do adjust.
