Cannot hear though receiver of my 4S

Hi everyone,

Im new here and Im hoping someone can help me. I have a 4S. Yesterday I changed my LCD screen and ever since then I cannot hear people through my receiver. I can only hear calls through an earpiece or in speaker mode.

Clearly I cannot go to Apple because I opened the phone to replace the screen so they wont help me.

I am at a loss as to how to fix this. Any help will be great.

Where did you get the replacement screen? Was a cheap one from ebay?

It's possible that during the reassembly you didn't attach one of the ribbon connectors properly. Here's a step by step for the 4S earpiece speaker... trace it down and see what you come up with. Installing iPhone 4S Earpiece Speaker - iFixit

The problem is in the speaker of your mobile. So go to your nearest Apple Care and fix it.

Benson, the OP clearly stated that this cannot be done since they've had their device open and replaced the front screen. Thus voiding any warranty care w/ Apple.
