Can't answer calls (slider problems)

When I carey ma phone in my pocket, sometimes the slider won't budge, i try to slude it and it bounces right back. So I miss calls because of it every now and then. Oddly, it never happens if the phone is on table or my purse, at least so far. Any ideas?
