Cant delete SMS, Battery Drains fast

Suddenly my iphone just gets warm with the battery draining really fast. Then I cant delete sms messages. The moment I swipe to delete it, delete option disappears immediately. UNLESS, I turn on wifi, then these things stops.
I dont think it is a solution to turn wifi on everytime.
Anyone here have a fix?

PS. No open apps. Did reboot everytime.

Try a restore in iTunes. If that doesn't solve it then call apple...

Will I be losing apps on restore? Like do I have to install every apps again?

Choose restore from a backup and you won't loose anything. iTunes makes a backup before restoring your phone. I can't remember if you have to tell it to sync again or if it does it automatically...
