Cant put email in the trash

On my iPhone 5 if I'm viewing an email and I want to delete it, if I tap the trash bin icon at the bottom of the screen I get an error message "the message could not beloved to the mailbox trash"

Any help would be appreciated

Clic on the edit, then highlight the mail you want to delete the hit the delete icon.

Try this:
Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendar>tap on the email address>tap Account (address)>Advanced>tap Deleted Mailbox>Select Trash Also make sure it's set to Deleted Mailbox and not Archive. You'll see it.
