Can't read entire message string

Good evening everyone! I have already performed a search and couldn't find this issue addressed. I have an iPhone 4 (OS 4.0.1; jailbroken). After changing the sliders (first to Zippers and now the transparent slider) some messages are not fully spelled out. For example when syncing, the bottom slider string reads only "SLIDE_TO_CA..." (this occurs on a few other messages that pop up as well). The only string I changed was the "Slide to Unlock". Is there any way to get these messages to read fully again? Thanks in advance everyone!
