cant upgrade my iphone!!

hi i am a newbie.

but not new to the jb scene

i literally cant update my iphone past 4.2
and even when i do i can get to activate

so is there TUTORIal out there for me.

ive tried swithching computers but all i get is a 1600 error. tried ireb snowbreeze redsnow pqwnage state using redsnow i reb HELP!

and yea im using snowbreeze. but i also tried just using itunes and that didnt work

Be careful using iTunes to update... doing so will also update your Baseband. Is your device on 4.2 unlocked and being used on a different carrier?

yea i know, im on baseband 02.10.04, so ill stay away from itunes. no its a iphone 4 gsm factory unlocked to rogers.

Well, if it's truly "Factory Unlocked" then there shouldn't be any concern over what baseband you're on.

Make sure you're properly in DFU mode.

And the 1600 error means you need to be in pwned DFU mode instead of just DFU.
