CarPlay HUD (Heads-up display) projecting the TomTom app running on my iPhone

Hi all.. here's a thought. Or maybe it already exists? Wouldn't it be great if you could project your iPhone screen onto the car windscreen as a heads-up display (HUD). I've just seen an advertisement for "Garmin HUD+ for In Car Navigation" which is a unit that sits on your dashboard and projects a heads-up image on the windscreen... the thing is it only projects an image generated from just a Garmin app running on your iPhone (connected by Bluetooth to the HUD+). In my ideal world I'd like to mount a HUD device on the dash that projects my iPhone screen (and sound) which is running the TomTom satnav app. Maybe using AirPlay (or CarPlay?). Does such a thing exist? Or maybe this post could inspire a manufacturer to produce such a thing?
