I am waiting in line at my local small town PO some months back, so I have my iPhone to hand. I note five bubbles LTE. I load the Speedtest app.
It comes in over 68 mbs down, 20 something up.
In another part of the forest just today, I'm sitting outside off a busy street. So guess what I do. Noting full force LTE again, I test the speed again.
At home, our WiFi runs an average of 17 MBS down. But cel data flies! And I'm wondering why I never see discussions of cellular data speed. I remember reading a story from Walt Mossberg when he was comparing AT&T and Verizon speeds. He was seeing single digit results in larger eastern and western cities.
'Sup with that?
