Cell Bound is a brand new iOS puzzle matching game from Hothead Games, where the player takes control of a sterile culture dish, and is charged with protecting it from being contaminated by a constant bombardment of coloured cell structures. In order to save your precious scientific sample, you have to spin the dish around using on-screen controls, catching and matching different coloured cell structures as they drop into the fields of play. Link five or more of the same colour to cause the cells to burst and vanish before they can contaminate the whole dish. Burst more chains at a faster rate to score more points.
Cell Bound features three different game modes: Infinite Mode, the main mode, which includes the use of smart bombs; Timer Mode, where the player has to earn as many points as possible in 1:30, without the aid of smart bombs; and Burst Mode, where cells that are connected and are not the same colour turn black and inert, obstructing the new cells.
