Hello, I just got an external solar charger with integrated battery. The output voltages provided are 4.2, 5.5 and 9.0 V.
Can I use the 5.5 V to charge my iphone 4 without damaging the iphone? (The standard voltage for the iphone is 5.0 V.)
Many thanks.
Cheers Dirk

Hiya

I've just bought a mini gorrila battery pack. The lowest v on it is 8.5. I cannot find anything on apple to say that this will or won't be Ok. I used it on 8.5 and it seemed to work but now, having looked into it I am afraid I'll blow it up or something. Please help!

BTW I think the battery on iphone 4 is rubbish - i have to charge mine from empty every day ! And, yes, i do turn the apps off............ its goen from 100% to 78% in ab hour and all I've done is post one tweet to twitter! Hence the need fopr extra bat pack

Thanks very much folks
