Charger before the watch delivery

So I am excited to get the watch.......they should deliver it as a package to you as you are disappointed when you just get the charging unit. Watch should be here tomorrow, exciting

The Apple watch is subject to a delivery embargo, so it can't be delivered until tomorrow. The charger unit was not subject to the embargo. This explains why it was received first.

I don't believe that Apple Stores have any Apple Watches or accessories for in-store purchase at this time. Your best bet is to order the charging cord online or through the Apple Store app.
