When I try to connect my device to itunes and attempt to restore it, it gets stuck in a loop but when I plug it into a wall charger it makes it all the way to the passcode lock screen. My problem is I cant keep the device on long enough to restore it. What can i do?
Assuming your device actually boots up to the Apple logo, you can put it into DFU mode. If your device never hits the Apple logo point, you have a faulty battery.
You need to catch the moment where the phone goes to DFU , in other words when you need to release the power key and hold the home button only to get that mode!
