Engadget always features some really cool gadgets, as you might expect from the name, and this one in particular caught my eye: its a Mini Hi-Fi System from Philips, which has a turntable canvas with room to dock two iPhones, and possibly the odd iPod touch or two. It is also, according to Engadget, compatible with the djay iOS app so can also be used for mixing and scratching iPhone music. Engadget points out that although the Mini Hi-Fi has been around for a few months, this is the first time that it has been made available in the UK, where you can pick it up for £300, or approximately $470 in the US. According to Philips, the system has channel faders for swapping playback between two iPhones/iPods, and USB Direct for easy MP3playback. It also has 300 W RMS total output power, and even dynamic lighting making it an ideal machine for parties, where Im sure itll be a talking point. Very nice!
