BGR has a really sweet feature about a novel use that a couple of new parents have come up with for the Apple Watch heartbeat-sharing feature. It turns out that the Apple Watch is just perfect for sharing a new-born baby’s heartbeat with relatives, which is exactly what the new parents have done.
The video was posted last weekend by a YouTube user called AlphaGlitch, and it shows the parents putting an Apple Watch on their new baby’s wrist, recording its heartbeat, and then sending the heartbeat to other family members in various locations in the US. It really is a whole new way of announcing a birth!
The parents said that this was “a really awesome experience that we couldn’t have done without the Apple Watch.”
And as BGR says, this is exactly the sort of thing that Apple loves to put in its adverts, so expect something similar coming to an Apple Watch advert sometime soon!
