We have one iOS 7 4s and an iOS 6 iPad which share an apple Id and one iOS 6 4s with another apple id.
Several iMessages went astray between the two phones.
Where we live, 2G is patchy to excellent, 3G is poor to good and wifi hotspots rare.
Given that iMessage uses 3G or wifi or sends an SMS if signal is too poor, and receives in the same way, should a message come through as long one out of the three services is available on both phones and that they don't need to be the same service; e.g 3G sends, SMS receives?
Am I misunderstanding iMessage or would these missing messages be down to the know iOS 7 bug?
