Connecting to WIN 8 hotspot

HI everyone,

I created a wifi hotspot on my laptop, my iphone can find it but cant seem to join it. Once i entered the password i just get a never ending loading animation next to the connection.

What am i missing?

Afaik it's possible to use the iPhone's personal hotspot to connect a computer to the internet, but it doesn't work the other way round.
