Copy/paste question

hi,

Quick question. On my iPhone today I copy and pasted text to imessage a few different people. About an hour later I pasted what I thought was that message again, only it was something completely different that I did not type. I have an iPad synced to my phone, I'm wondering if something copied on the iPad could be pasted on my phone. Thanks for your help!

It doesn't work that way. You can only paste what you copied on the device where you paste. Maybe you copied a text by chance, and that was what showed up.
