Copying from address book

Loving my brand new iPhone. Pretty big improvement from 5-yeart-old BlackBerry Pearl! Anyway, other than creating a vcf card, is there a way to copy all or part of the info for a particular contact in your address book? Useful when sending contact info to somebody in an email message.
