Covert DVD to iPhone?

Can anyone suggest a program that I can use to convert my DVDs into iPhone format? Preferably free but I will pay if I have to.

I used to have something that did it but I can't remember the name of the program

Handbrake is the one that I use, it's free and comes loaded with presets for conversion of films to iDevices.

I like DVD Catalyst. Easy to use and has multiple file settings to choose from.

Yeah I just run em through DVD decrypter first

Not quite true, the first copy protected DVD I inserted, Handbrake offered me a plug-in download, I accepted it and now it seamlessly rips and converts.
