The new iOS 5 feature "Custom Vibrations" allows you to assign a specific vibration pattern to specific contacts. Apple has set up a few vibrations that you can use or you can record your own. You record your own by tapping and hold the screen with a pattern you want your phone to vibrate. After this you can play it to see if you like it or rerecord. Once you have your final version, you can name it and it will save to a list. Assign it to your contact and you're ready to go!

doesn't matter what type of custom vibration i choose, i get the default 2 short vibes.
what am i doing wrong
