Cydia will not load.

I used Greenpois0n untethered to jailbreak my iPod Touch 2G. The whole process went really good, except installing cydia. It for some reason won't run. It opens for a split second and goes back to the where I opened it from. I watch it download and instead of going completely to 100% it stopped at 45% and then extracted. It may because I was low on space on my iPod but I made more space. I've reinstall the same jailbreak software three seperate times and the cydia app is already there, installed but not working. how do I fix it? Also, I can't find a way to delete it. Is there anyway to?

Have you restarted your iPod after doing the jailbreak?
