Deleted Facebook messages that dont stay deleted?

i always get a notification for private messages within the Facebook app, that i have deleted several times, and they keep reappearing? I know this is probably a Facebook bug and not an iphone bug...

anyone else have this issue?

Yes, it is a valid Facebook bug. The Facebook app on iPhone works on cache. i.e, it will keep showing you the older things unless you keep refreshing again and again. But even if you refresh, you will still see the 1 message notification cuz the app is buggy.
