As fate would have it I tripped and dropped my phone. I survivied, however my phone suffered a much worse outcome. It fell through that 12" gap in the middle of some stairwells and down 13 floors. It had to land flat on its back because there are no marks on the sides or front.

Damage; Back glass shattered and battery was bent and leaking (not inside the phone though. I plugged it into PC and it is not recognized by PC and display lights up with horizontal and vertical multi-colored lines.

Question; Is there any thing I can do with this phone? I technically wasn't thinking repair, but parts maybe? I very savvy so I am open to any suggestions.

Thank you!

Yikes! sorry about your phone, i have plenty of close calls with mine as well and fortuanlty everything has turned out ok so far.

I think the only thing you have to work with on there is the digitizer. Everything else would be unreliable considering the distance of the fall.

That and the home button. I'd salvage what I can from it.

You could also (if your just looking to sell it for parts) is put the whole thing up on eBay as is for the price of the digitizer and home button and see if you get any bites that way.

Thanks everyone. Does anyone know the power requirements for the cameras? Thinking I mught pull those and see if I could play with those and make minature spy cameras :)
