I have to say it seemed a little strange last week when Capcom Mobile released the iPhone version of Devil May Cry 4 featuring a completely new character and no sign of regular series hero, the dashing Dante. Clearly Capcom Mobile had something up its sleeve, and it’s wasted no time in releasing today’s first update for the game just a week after launch, which features the return of Dante as a playable character! Fans now get to choose whether they want to play as new hero Nero or Dante across the ten levels and eight titanic boss battles. And if you’re one of the lucky people who downloaded the game for $0.99 while it was on sale (sale is now over sadly), pat yourself on the back because you’ve got yourself a bargain!

Devil May Cry 4 refrain is based on the console versions of Devil May Cry 4, but is in fact a completely new game, set in the familiar gothic supernatural world, but made specifically for iPhone and iPod touch.
