DFU mode then nothing.

So i'm trying to restore my iphone, it had taken water damage but everything is appearing to work now (digitizer screen etc.) But I put it into DFU mode or whatever it's called, and i went to update it, well it poped out of dfu mode and tried booting. I'm no expert, but it seems like maybe it's trying to get into a different mode and restarts, but theres no power, besides the cord, because i think the battery is done.

So from what I understand, you're saying that your iPhone was water damaged, and that after the water damage it worked fine whilst connected to a charger cable, but has no power after the cable is disconnected?

Is the phone and iPhone 4 or a 3G(s)? The reason I ask is that my water damaged iPhone 4 works fine whilst it is connected to a charger, but dies as soon as the cable is disconnected.

Does this sound like the symptoms of your phone?
