Why do my calls not go out on the first try.
Sometimes even the second. Is this a chronic IPhone issue? I am on Verizon. It doesn't matter where I am located.

That happened often on mine when I had AT&T also. Mainly I couldn't make calls back to back right after each other. I had to exit the call app. Close it. Then re-enter it. I haven had that issue noticeably with my 4s with sprint. But sprint has their own issues, sure it's cheaper but their data coverage and speed is subpar... Kinda wish I never switched to sprint.

Hi pap.... Too bad about the call fails, but have you gone to your network provider and talked with them? If you can duplicate the problem for them with your phone, they should have an answer for you. But before that, try a "hard reset" on the phone, and if that doesn't work, reset your network connection -- it's an option within your Settings page. And FYI, your problem is NOT a common one experienced by others. I have NEVER had a call failure on my iPhone, and I live in the rural areas with a relatively weak signal.
