Dictation functionality for Iphone 4?

I want integrated dictation functionality added to my keyboard like the Iphone 4s models! The jailbreak app "Siri0us" added that functionality, but had to be removed due to legal issues. The closest I have found is using the Dragon Dictation app, which uses the Nuance servers (same ones as Siri uses), copying the text and then switching apps to paste into whatever text field I wanted to use it for.

Please tell me there's a better way!

Sorry. There are no good answers other than to buy an iPhone 4S or 5.

Sadly this is where Android out shines iOS in a major way. Full system integration of an outside application. Apple may never allow it unfortunately.

I'm not sure if it works or anything but I was looking for the same thing and saw something called "Sara" which is hosted on its own repo by some French guy that developed it. From what I remember it was fully functional and didn't access a server but some files directly on your phone. Try giving that a look and let us know.
