Hello
I bought a storage unit auction and there was a 64gb iPhone 6 in the auction. I can get into the phone but it has iCloud hooked up to it and find my iPhone turned on. I took it to Verizon to get it hooked up today to my account for my son and they said it would work but they suggest removing the iCloud and find my iPhone. How do I go about doing this? Thanks in advance for the help.

Welcome to iPhoneForums, bobhopenut!

You can't do this yourself. The previous owner has to remove this device from Find my iPhone.
If you can find out who it was, contact him and ask him to do the following:
iCloud: Remove your device from Find My iPhone
In your case, the third option is what has to be done by the former owner.

If that's not possible, you might be able to use it for some time, but as soon as it has to be restored (which can happen at any time), it will be locked by iCloud, thus being useless to your son, because it's impossible to bypass iCloud's activation lock.

Hope that helps.
