Displaying clock while phone is off

Hello gang,
Is it possible to display clock while phone is charging or off like Android? Would like to use phone as my primary night-stand/alarm clock...

Hmm I don't use one but look for Nite Time in Apple store ..

'Rise' is another clock/alarm app that can display the time when locked. Can even turn down the brightness of the display so it's not too bright at night.
