does the zagg screen protector ruin oleophobic coat?

I got my iPhone4s about a month ago and put a Zagg screen cover on. I eventually got sick of it and removed it. Is there any chance I ruined the oleophobic coat? My screen feels a bit sticky, even after cleaning it with a tiny bit of LCD cleaner and a microfiber cloth..

How does one tell when the oleophobic coat wears off?
