Downgrade an app without loosing data

Hallo people, I'm desperate because I update my King of Fighters i today and lost all of my replay data. I stored tons of incredible combo videos. I really need them back cause I was going to create a youtube video with all of them!!
So, since the new KOF-i doesn't load the recordings made with version 1.0, is there a way to downgrade an app without loosing all of its data?
Some informations:
I've got the latest firmware, iPhone 3Gs JailBroken, I need an hack or something to perform this operation, or I'll loose all of my data for certain. I haven't got a recent backup of my iPhone but I do have the old version of the app in my Mac.
Please somebody help me!

definitely! You don't know how mad I am at the developers. They did specify it in the update notice but I didn't read it because it's not like we're talking about a productivity tool! Who would have thought that there was going to be such a huge change?! And the replay data is still there! It's just not playable!

Well why don't you search for the replay data through ifile or ssh into the phone.

That's a good idea, I thought the same thing 15 min ago after I replied you, I found the data and saved it trough shsh. Now I'm restoring the previous version of KOFi. Once it's done I'll try to restore the replay data and tell you guys if I had some luck or not! Hope so...
